Mr. Ahmed Elshaer serves as a Consultant General and Upper GI Surgeon in Yorkshire, with his practice based at the Yorkshire Clinic , Nuffield Health Leeds and NHS base at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

His expertise includes laparoscopic surgery for gastrointestinal diseases, gallbladder surgery, various types of hernias (laparoscopic and open), anti-reflux surgery, diaphragmatic and hiatus hernias, achalasia and oesophageal motility disorders, weight loss surgery (Bariatric surgery), gastric cancer, oesophageal cancer, biliary and pancreatic diseases, bowel surgery, splenic surgery, trauma and acute emergency surgery, as well as lumps and bumps. Mr. Elshaer is proficient in robotic advanced surgery with wide experience in robotic surgery for Upper GI diseases.
